Navin’s real estate law practice includes representation of real estate private equity and opportunity funds; real estate developers; hotel and motel owners; private lenders; commercial landlords and tenants; investors and homeowners.  In Florida, Navin closes commercial and residential real estate deals as a title agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and First American National Title Insurance Company.  Outside of Florida, Navin is an owner of a growing title company, Integrated Title Agency, LLC which is licensed in various states around the country.  

Navin’s corporate and business law practice includes representation of small businesses to medium size companies on general corporate and transactional matters. Navin frequently handles business closings related to restaurants, gas stations, convenience stores, and other businesses spanning a wide range of industries. 

Navin also handles litigation related to real estate and business matters.  He frequently represents commercial landlords seeking past due rent from tenants or otherwise requiring the filing of eviction lawsuits.  Navin employs of counsel attorneys who can handle other real estate or business litigation matters under Navin’s supervision.

Navin founded the Law Office of Navin R. Pasem, P.L. in 2009 practicing all aspects of real estate law, business law and general litigation.  Prior to founding the law firm, Navin worked at several large commercial law firms in Orlando and Miami practicing all aspects of real estate law, business law and general litigation.  In addition, Navin worked on the business side of real estate in the Real Estate Strategy & Development department of The Walt Disney Company handling land-use issues and deal terms for the Company’s real estate projects.  In law school, Navin attained valuable experience as a law clerk for Burger King Corporation and the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. 

Navin is privileged to have served the legal community via a number of prestigious organizations.  He is a past president of the South Asian Bar Association of Florida (“SABA Florida”), a voluntary bar association serving the South Asian legal, business and civic communities.  He served on the inaugural committee of the Florida Bar Leadership Academy pursuant to an appointment from the President of the Florida Bar and the Executive Council of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar after completing the Section’s highly competitive fellowship program.  Lastly, early in his career, Navin was awarded the Young Businessperson of the Year by the Indo-US Chamber of Commerce.

Navin represents local, national and international clients, with a particular focus in Tampa Bay, Orlando and his hometown of Ocala, Florida.  Navin also has capabilities to represent clients on deals outside of Florida on a deal specific basis.  Navin places a great amount of pride in the trust clients place in him for legal representation and makes efforts to be available after hours and on weekends as necessary given his clients’ busy schedules.
